Derwentwater from High Lodore, Borrowdale, Lake District, Cumbria, England. This card features Millican Dalton (1867-1947), famous outdoors man, mountain guide and camping trip organiser and pioneer in the field of minimalist camping equipment. He lived in the open, sleeping under outcrops or in tents, caves, forest huts and bivvies, before finally settling in a large split-level cave in Borrowdale. Date: 1915
