One of the many dogs used by the French Army, Prusco, sits on the side car of a motor cycle, alongside the motor-cyclist scout. Prusco accompanied the scout on all expeditions and whenever there was information to report, a message would be fastened to his collar which he would carry to army headquarters. Date: August 1914
