Accompanying note provides caption, ?THE RHINELAND AND THE BATTLE SOUTH OF UDEM, 4 March 1945: Lt Ted Deeming with crew after the Schlieffen Line had been breached. Challenger tank with 17-pdr gun and Browning 0. 30 in. machine gun. Location - Hellmannshof S. of Udem. ?A further note names people featured in the photograph, ?CHALLENGER CREW: Lt Ted Deeming (with binocular case) then clockwise - Tpr Ken G.
