This photograph of Salvador Dali (1904-1989)was taken at his home at Port Lligat, at the foot of the Spanish Pyrenees, where the surrealist artist spent three months of the year and the rest of the year in New York. He had recently completed Madonna of Port Lligat, which caused a sensation in New York. Date: 31/01/1951
