Queen Victoria - Visit to Liverpool, 1886
Page from The Graphic reporting on the visit of Queen Victoria to Liverpool in May 1886 where she opened the Liverpool Exhibition. The top two pictures show a view of London Road from St. Georges Hall with the Queens coach leaving for the pier-head (the weather was appalling), while the second shows the royal procession in Lime Street. The bottom engraving shows the Queen opening the exhibition and reading her reply to the mayors address.
