The Duke and Duchess of York invested as bards at the Welsh National Eisteddfog at Swansea in August, 1926. They were given the bardic names Albert o Efrog and Betsi o Efrog. Pictured here in their ceremonial robes standing on either side of the Archdruid. Twenty years later, their daughter Princess Elizabeth was also invested as a bard - see: picture 10509282. Date: 1926
