Clyde Pangborns Bellanca Skyrocket monoplane, which he belly-landed at Wenatchee, Washington State, on 5 October 1931, to complete the first non-stop aeroplane flight between Japan and the USA. He had dropped the landing gear into the ocean shortly after takeoff in order to lighten the aircraft. Photograph taken three days after the landing, on 8 October. Date: 1931

16x12 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexiglass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
