Promotional postcard for The Merveilleuses by Basil Hood, based on a play by Victorien Sardou (Theatre des Varietes, Paris, 16th December 1873); music Hugo Felix. First produced at Dalys Theatre, 27th October 1906. The musical was set in the period of the Directory in France (late eighteenth century). The title was changed to The Lady Dandies, 31st January 1907. Date: circa 1906

16x12 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexiglass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
