Mausoleum of Khadija, Jannatul Mualla Cemetery
The mausoleum of Khadija, Daughter of Khuwaylid - The First wife of the Prophet Muhammad and mother of Fatimah - Mecca, Saudi Arabia at the Jannatul Mualla Cemetery. Tombs in this cemetery were demolished in 1925, the same year that the mausoleums in Jannatul Baqee were demolished by Saudi King, Ibn Saud - urged by Wahhabi scholars - because of Muhammads various sayings that prohibits the building of domes over graves. The demolitions (which continue to this day) happened despite protest by the international Islamic community. Date: 1910
