New supper clubs in London - The Lotus. Series of photographs specially taken for The Sketch shows scenes at the Lotus club, one of a number of late-opening supper clubs springing up around the capital on the eve of the First World War. Pictures show the entrance hall, the ladies cloakroom, patrons at supper tables, a corner of the lounge, exhibition dancers Marion and Roland Mitford demonstrating the tango and the chef with his assistants.
