German machine gun in a street in Grandpre, north eastern France, during the First World War. American troops of the 312nd Machine Gun Company, 78th Division, eventually entered the town, held up by German snipers. The surrounding buildings are badly damaged from the firing. Date: 18 October 1918

Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
