Caudebec en Caux, France - Monument to the Latham 47 Heroes, who disappeared in the prototype of the Latham 47 in 1928 with Roald Amundsen onboard during a rescue mission to the North Pole in search of Umberto Nobile. The Latham 47 was a French twin-engine flying boat designed and built by Societe Latham & Cie for the French Navy. Date: 1931
