First produced at the Rotunda in Liverpool, 26th July and the Lyric, Hammersmith on 6th September 1909, and as Queen at Seventeen, at the Princes Theatre in London 1st August 1914. This poster was used in a flyer touring to the Tyne Theatre in Newcastle, 8th April 1912. " Wounded Soldier" Lt. Habsburg lies wounded in the snow, tended by the Princess whom he has come to fetch from her convent to be Queen. Rosella, a charcoal burners daughter, left; the Mother Superior, right. Bruno, an attendant at the convent is just visible in a doorway at the back. Date: 1912
