The Capitals Lacrosse Club of Canada
The Capitals Lacrosse Club of Canada (which is apparently still in existence today) visiting the Battersby Hat Factory in Stockport in 1906. The Battersby family were keen lacrosse players and for many years it was quite normal for what would now be called celebrities to visit the works. Unfortunately the visitors book was lost when the factory eventually closed in 1966. Date: 1906
