Two men on a boat on Coniston
Two men on a boat on Coniston identified by the photographer as his friends Nelstrop on the left, and Wilson. The two men were cousins, Nelstrop being a member of the flour makers in Stockport. The relaxed and natural character of this photograph shows that life in Edwardian England was not as stuffy and formal as modern day perceptions would have you believe. Date: circa 1906
