The Hambledon Union workhouse, a building originally erected in 1786 for the united parishes of Bramley, Chiddingfold, Dunfold and Hambledon. The site later became Hambledon Hospital and then Hambledon Homes. It was occupied in the 1980s by the Institute of Oceanographic Sciences
