St Quentin stirrup-charge 1914
An artists impression of the stirrup-charge that reportedly took place during the Battle of St Quentin (also known as the First Battle of Guise). As the Scots Greys charge the German lines, members of a Highland regiment join the charge by holding onto the stirrups of the Greys.
