Queen Victoria shown with members of her family shortly after the wedding of the Prince and Princess of Wales, with a mourning bust of her late husband in the centre. (left) Prince Albert. Edward, Prince of Wales with his new wife, Alexandra. Seated to the left is Princess Louise. The Queen wearing widow's cap, reading to her youngest child, Princess Beatrice while Prince Leopold kneels on the floor. Princess Helena stands next to her brother-in-law, Grand Duke Louis of Hesse, and his wife, Princess Alice sits by his side. Groups like this emphasised Prince Albert's continued presence but in fact, the marriage of the Prince of Wales was the last alliance they had discussed and agreed together. Date: 10th March 1863

Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 archival quality photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (38x32cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached.
