Helen Venetia Vincent, Viscountess D Abernon (n饠 Duncombe) ), British peeress, socialite and diarist. Lady D Abernon, a noted society beauty of her day, married Sir Edgar Vincent in 1890. During the First World War, Lady Helen trained as a nurse anaesthetist and treated thousands of patients in allied military hospitals. Pictured here at the popular society ice rink, Princes Skating Rink where she gave an exhibition attended by the Duke and Duchess of Rutland and other social celebrities. Date: 1910
