Zoroastrian Fire Temple (Ateshgah), Surakhani, Baku, Azerbaijan. Abandoned when oil and gas was found in the locality, the site has been prefectly preserved and is now a national heritage monumnet. The healing fire was sent by Zoroastrian priests from the Temple to locations where it was required to cleanse and burn away sickness. Date: circa 1910s
