As reported by the 90th Winnipeg Rifles, the Germans dressed in the uniforms of the dead Canadian Scottish troops, their riffles concealed beneath their great-coats, approached under cover of a white flag. Their deceitful actions were detected just as they were about to open fire. Date: 1915
