Women at the town house of Mrs R. G. Edwards at 22 New Cavendish Street ( one of the latest of Londons beautiful homes to be devoted to the work of the British Red Cross ). Picture shows society ladies meeting together under the auspices of the Red Cross Central Workrooms - Royal Academy of Arts Branch - and making up quantities of hospital garments and other necessities for the wounded. The workers bought their own materials. Mrs Edwards is seen standing on the right of the picture. Date: 1916
