Womens hairstyles 1864
Selection of the latest styles of arranging the hair as adopted in Paris, and as practised by the leading Parisian hair-dressers. Using false additions to sufficient quantity of the hair to enable them to adopt any of these styles. Woman in the centre, brides head-dress, with parting behind the ears, divided the hair into three equal parts, with the two lower ones make the full twist and with the upper one a small Greek bandeau which advances on the forehead. Back of the hair is arranged with a large bow or loop, ornamented with an oval wreath of orange blossoms and tuberoses.
