A Victorian man standing by a mirror. It is probably Frederick Charles Polhill-Turner (1826-1881), around the time of his wedding to Emily Frances Barron in 1852. He became a Justice of the Peace, Deputy Lieutenant, High Sheriff for Bedfordshire in 1855 and MP for Bedford 1874-1880
