Temporary homes 1945
During World War Two many houses were bombed, there were a shortage of homes for people after the war so temporary homes where quickly built. These homes, called prefabs, were made of timber-panels and tin-roofs, with all the amenities set up to accommodate homeless families. Prefabs where meant to be temporary homes, but some lasted decades after the war.
