Tamara Karsavina, Russian ballerina, who danced at the Drury Lane theatre, London, from May to July 1914 in a season of opera and ballet overseen by Sir Joseph Beecham. She later married British diplomat Henry James Bruce and settled in London, assisting with the establishment of The Royal Ballet Date: 1914
