Chateau d Oex internment camp, Switzerland - British Prisoner of War Camp - card sent by Private C. Cusworth (8662) of the 2nd Manchester Regiment - interned Prisoner of War. Pictured with his chums and fellow prisoners - photo taken by an " old lady" who was " bobbing about" and was rather an inept photographer! A fascinating piece of war history. They were put up in the Hotel Beau Sejour at Chateau d Oex - which sounds really rather pleasant... Date: 1916
