The Sphere magazine absorbs Black and White

A newspaper boy selling copies of The Sphere and The Tatler (sister titles from the same group) to a man on a train. The photograph was promoting the fact that The Sphere had successfully absorbed another well-known title of the Edwardian era, Black and White. It was founded by Charles Norris Williamson in 1891 but incorporated with The Sphere in 1912. Date: 1912
