An Indian tiger shot by the Maharajah of Nepal, carried on the back of a hunting elephant. This photograph was taken by Johnston & Hoffman of Calcutta. It was used to illustrate the type of big game encountered by King George V during his tiger hunt towards the end of his royal visit to India.
