A number of surviving members of the Russian royal family escaped the country at the end of World War I (after the Revolution) from Yalta, Crimea (still under White Russian control) on HMS Marlborough in April 1919. Some of the ships guests from the Russian Refugee School at Proli (?) with their Teachers. Date: 1919
