Russian heavy gun position
A Russian heavy gun position near Przemysl, in modern day Poland. Przemysl was one of the focal points of fighting on the Eastern Front during the first two years of the war. The Austrian fortress was besieged and surrended to the Russians in March 1915, but Russian occupation was short-lived as an Austro-German force retook the ruins of the fortress in June that year
