The gentleman with the cane is the Hon. Bettington, Chief of Police. The Prince of Wales and his brother George arrived in Bermuda on their first leg of their journey to South America.

Later, Edward would become known as the Duke of Windsor, following his abdication as King to marry Wallis Simpson, and his brother George would become King George VI. Date: 1931
