Roger Bushell and Georgiana Curzon
Guests at the wedding of Viscount Curzon and Miss Priscilla Weigall at St Pauls Cathedral. On the left is Roger Bushell, who following his capture in France as an RAF pilot in 1940, would be the mastermind behind the attempted Great Escape from Stalag Luft III at Sagan in 1944. His own escape attempt failed and he was summarily murdered by the Gestapo. In the centre is Lady Georgiana Curzon, sister of the bridegroom and to the right Miss Livia Paravicini, both of whom were bridesmaids at the wedding. Date: July 1935
