The pilot and observer of a Royal Flying Corps aeroplane are helped back to their rest quarters after returning from a reconnaissance mission over the Western Front. The Sphere magazine reports that, " The effect of rarefied atmosphere, however, passes off rapidly after a good sleep." Note the planes camera held in the hand of one of the soldiers. Date: 1916
