The R. M.s Empress of Ireland
The R.M.S Empress of Ireland, and Oceanic Liner of the Canadian Pacific Steamship Company. On the 29th May, 1914, she collided with a Norwegian collier and sank in the Saint Lawrence River. 1012 people (840 passengers and 172 crew) died. It is the greatest maritime disaster in Canadian history.
