The Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII, and then, Duke of Windsor), pictured with other members of the Oxford University Officers Training Corps watching the birthday parade (in honour of his father, King George V) held on Laffans Plain, Aldershot. The ILN caption tells us that, His Royal Highness had arrived at Aldershot earlier in the morning by route march from Sandhurst, and camped with his Corps at Mytchett Place, sharing an ordinary bell tent with three of his comrades. Date: 1914
