United States Air Force - North American F-86D-5-NA Sabre (Dog) 50-0496 (Buzz number FU-496) *1952-53: USAF 3200th PTG.*1956: Converted to TF-86D.*USAF 4750th ADW.(In the backgound is the fuselage of Boeing B-50A Superfortress 46-0010 KENSMAN, formerly known as Lucky Lady II which flew the first non-stop around the world flight in early 1949. In an accident on 13 August 1950, the aircraft (now named Kensmen) lost power in all four engines and crashed Southeast of Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson. The aircraft was not repairable, but the fuselage was salvaged and toured as a recruiting exhibit.) Date: circa 1953
