Sir Alan John Cobham ) - English aviation pioneer standing in front of his de Havilland DH.60 Moth G-EBKT, a light-weight, two-place, single-engine, single-bay British two-seat touring and training biplane aircraft. A prototype which Cobham flew from Croydon to Zurich and back in 14 hours, 49 minutes on 29th May 1925 (after which this photograph was likely taken).
