Royal Aircraft Factory F. E. 2 (second aircraft)
Royal Aircraft Factory F.E.2, powered by an air-cooled 70hp Renault V-8 engine, (R.A.F. - Royal Aircraft Factory), (F.E. - Farman Experimental). This was the second F.E.2, with revised tail surfaces and the outer wings copied from the B.E.2. Neither of the two F.E.2s were fitted with fins, which, unsurprisingly led to instability in yaw, which brought about its end on 23 February 1914, when it span to the ground killing Ronald Kemps passenger. Date: 1913
