United States Navy - Grumman TC-4C Academe 155729 Spirit of Fentress (msn 186, base code AD, call-sign 577), of VA-42 The Green Pawns. Delivered to the US Navy on 6 November 1967and retired to AMARC on 26 April 1994. A Bombardier/Navigator trainer for US Navy and Marine Corps A-6 crew, first flown in 1967. Aircraft were fitted with a Grumman A-6 Intruder nose radome, a simulated A-6 cockpit and four bombardier/navigator consoles for A-6 crew training, nine Grumman Model G-426 Gulfstream I built.
