Bell 209 Cobra N209J (given the spoof serial 64-7015). The private venture prototype of the Huey-Cobra, built by Bell while the US Army was wasting time and money on the Lockheed AH-65 Cheyenne and Sikorsky S-67 Blackhawk. When the Army eventually got round to evaluating it, they couldn t get enough of it, with production of developed models only recently being completed (AH-1Z) for the US Marine Corps.
