In 1949 and used on the Berlin Airlift for freight on one flight and as a bulk fuel carrier on 45 more sorties. One Lincolnian converted for the Argentine Air Force; LV-ZEI as the Cruz del Sud, for Antactic survey flights. Three more were converted by Field Aircraft Services with a larger pannier, for an abortive Paraguayan meat packing company, but were not delivered and scrapped. Date: circa 1950
