Handley Page HP.42W Western G-AAXE Hengist (msn 42/7) of Imperial Airways Ltd. on the apron at Croydon Airport, with passenger viewing the aircraft before boarding. Hengist was the seventh Western to be built, entering service on 23 April 1930 and remaining in service until damaged by fire on 31 May 1937 at Karachi Airport, India (now Pakistan). Date: 1930s
