Practical demonstration of the way General Baden-Powells scouting scheme for boys has caught on ha been given by his scouts camp held at Chollerford near Hexham. Here, under what are practically active service conditions, some forty boys from both public and elementary schools ahve received a fortnights training of scoutcraft, under B-Ps direction. Tracking, signalling, temporary hut-making, and the thousand and one sine qua nons of the education of the scout filled the day, while the evenings were passed with yarn and song round the camp fire.
