WW1 - Thessaloniki - The Konak
WW1 - Thessaloniki - The Konak - an Ottoman-era building built in 1891 as the residence of the governor-general of the Salonica Vilayet and the seat of the Ottoman authorities. It now houses the Ministry of Macedonia and Thrace. Here the scene shows the aftermath of a bomb having been dropped into the garden inside the Konak grounds - 1918.
