The fascinating ancient iron pillar of Delhi, constructed by a King Chandra
The fascinating ancient iron pillar of Delhi, constructed by a " King Chandra", probably Chandragupta II (reigned c. 375-415 CE), which now stands in the Qutb complex at Mehrauli in Delhi, India. The pillar is remarkably un-corroded, a testament to the skill of the craftsman who cast it over 1500 years ago. Date: circa 1910s
