Spain, Castile-La Mancha, Albacete province, La Roda. Palace of the Doctor of la Encina. Its construction was commissioned by Don Fernando de la Encina (1650-1740), canon of Cuenca cathedral. The facade has Baroque elements from the end of the 17th century. It is structured on two floors, the ground floor is made of stone ashlars, the first floor only has ashlars on corners and balconies. Two columns flank the main door and support a moulded entablature on which there is a large noble coat of arms of the de la Encina lineage surrounded by four smaller ones bearing the grandparents surnames. Similar columns appear framing the last window on the right of the ground floor, where until the first third of the 20th century there was an entrance door to the chapel of San Julian
