Strikers barrack a car as it crosses the picket line at the Trico-Folberth windscreen wipers factory, Brentford, Middlesex, England. The women workers, supported by their male colleagues, were on strike for equal pay. The women, organised by the Amalgamated Union of Engineering Workers, were on strike for 21 weeks before their demand for the same basic rate as the men was met. Date: August 1976
