An illustration showing one end of the music salon of Rowley Hall, Staffordshire. The panelled walls are in finely figured oak, enriched with limewood carving, the mantelpiece is a copy of the well known example at Hampton Court Palace, with a carved oval wreath of fruit and flowers. The ceiling is a triump of plasterer's art, with various decorative trophies at the corners and floral bands intersected with cartouches. Date: circa 1916
