RMS Titanic, archive of Joseph Bell (1861-1912), Chief Engineer on the Titanic, and victim of the disaster. Collection of letters and ephemera relating to Mr Bell's son Frank, his apprenticeship at Queens Island Belfast, army career in WW1 and a letter from the White Star Line mentioning Joseph Bell, and inviting Frank to write to the engine department so that they can find him an early appointment. Legal paperwork relating to Mr Bell's estate including the assets of his estate of £6508 5/- 10 pence, a letter to Mr Bell in 1906 regarding the transfer of an employee, a letter from Mr Bell in 1907 regarding a troublesome tenant farmer and a number of notes to and from the executors of the estate to their solicitors.
